J.T. Barrett was named the Big Ten's Co-Freshman of the Week award for his performance against Navy, and it appears he'll need some more room in his personal trophy case.
The redshirt-freshman signal-caller completed 23 of 30 passes for 312 yards and six —six! — touchdowns against Kent State. (Kenny Guiton also threw a school-record six touchdown passes against Florida A&M in 2013.)
The performance was good enough to be named the Big Ten's Offensive Player of the Week, as well as the Big Ten's Freshman of the Week.
Congrats to J.T. Barrett, as he continues his evolution.
