Urban Meyer and his staff took part in the Coach to Cure Muscular Dystrophy initiative last week and the football program has followed up with video of senior tight end and captain Jeff Heuerman presenting the game ball to Jacob and Noah Studebaker, two brothers suffering from this genetic condition.

From the video description:

College football coaches last weekend joined in support of the Coach To Cure MD program to support eliminating Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a genetic disorder diagnosed during childhood that primarily affects boys across all races and cultures. Currently, there is no cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy and limited therapeutic options exist. Two young men who have this medical challenge – brothers Jacob and Noah Studebaker – have become close friends of Coach Urban Meyer and the Ohio State football team. They were with the team for the Cincinnati game to help raise awareness for Duchenne muscular dystrophy, and because Saturday was their special day across all of college football, the boys were honorary captains for the Buckeyes during the coin toss. Jacob even received a gift after the game from his favorite Buckeye: Jeff Heuerman.

Well done, Jeff, team.
