Last week in Indianapolis at the NFL Combine, quarterback guru George Whitfield told reporters he expects Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller to make a full recovery and that he has no intensions of transferring.

"Oh, yeah, that’s very realistic. When the summer hits, and those guys begin summer workouts [in June], he'll be 100 percent," Whitfield told the Toledo Blade. "He's looking stronger, getting more and more fluid. I just love the progress he's making."

On Monday, Anthony Rothman of 97.1 The Fan — who is on the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer with Urban Meyer — asked the Buckeyes head coach about Miller's progress and his status going forward.

According to Rothman, Meyer said he's heard Miller is doing well in his recovery, but doesn't believe he will throw with any velocity until May.

Rothman also asked Meyer about J.T. Barrett, who is recovering from a fractured ankle suffered in the fourth quarter of the Michigan game.

Meyer confirmed what most believed saying Barrett would likely be able to compete in 7-on-7 drills in the spring, but the ankle would be protected from any contact.
