Today, Ohio State picked up its fifth commitment to its star-studded 2017 class in the form of Westerville South's 2017 four-star CB, Marcus Williamson. Williamson was on campus for the Buckeye spring, his second consecutive weekend visit, and Ohio State was able to seal the deal thanks in part to an aggressive recruiting approach by Kerry Coombs, who led the way in Williamson's recruitment.
Michigan, Michigan State, and Tennessee were just a few of the other schools already in on the country's 5th-ranked 2017 CB.
It's a long way from coming to fruition, but Williamson joins 2017's overall second-rated CB, Shaun Wade, in the 2017 class. That's a potential lockdown tandem in Ohio State's over-hauled, more aggressive defense and with Wade on campus for the spring game as well, the pair have begun to develop their rapport.
Stay with Eleven Warriors for more on this commitment, but until then, here's Williamson's 2014 highlight reel to tide you over:
