The Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns have drawn their fans' frustrations in recent years by their apparent steadfast refusal to draft a product out of Ohio State. (This is compounded by the fact the Pittsburgh Steelers, and to a lesser extent, the Baltimore Ravens, keep poaching OSU alums.)
But it's the Cincinnati Bengals that are throwing former Ohio State dynamo, Terrelle Pryor, a career lifeline.
Prior was cut on Tuesday (yes, on Cinco de Mayo!) by the Kanas City Chiefs. According to the Associated Press' Joe Kay, Pryor has been invited to the Bengals' rookie camp on a tryout basis. Fox Sports' Zac Jackson says Pryor is "in" on the camp.
It's unclear right now if Pryor is trying out as a quarterback or an athlete, but we'll see if he sticks. Remarkably, he's still only 25-years-old.
