Another day, another heap of accolades for the 2015 Ohio State football team, a team that hasn't yet played a meaningful snap of football.
Sporting News released its preseason All-American teams and — you might want to be sitting down for this — Ohio State leads the way with four first-team nods and six overall selections.
PLAYER | POSITION | TEAM |
---|---|---|
JOEY BOSA | DE | 1ST |
TAYLOR DECKER | LT | 1ST |
EZEKIEL ELLIOTT | RB | 1ST |
DARRON LEE | LB | 1ST |
CARDALE JONES | QB | 2ND |
ADOLPHUS WASHINGTON | DT | 2ND |
Notre Dame, Florida State, and Ole Miss were the only other schools with multiple first team picks.
Between Sporting News' and Phil Steele's All-American teams, nine Ohio State players have been bequeathed with the prestigious preseason honors.
Let's hope this isn't the end of the award train, either.
