UPDATE (1:45 p.m.): Joe Schad is the latest to enter his reporting two cents to this hilarious saga:
Braxton Miller planning to stay at Ohio State and continue focus on rehabilitation/recovery says one person who spoke w him
— Joe Schad (@schadjoe) July 2, 2015
Tim May of Dispatch.com is reporting a text from Braxton Miller in which the dynamo QB says he "expects to announce his immediate plans next week."
As May notes: Miller is a graduate and could play immediately if he chose to transfer. However, everyone from Gene Smith to Urban Meyer to his dad has said Braxton will be back. Braxton himself has been mum since his initial statement to return to Ohio State last August, though he did say "We've got another year [to win a championship]!" at the title celebration.
But a lot has changed since then.
As May notes, Miller is a graduate and would be eligible to play elsewhere immediately. It could also be about plans to change positions, or it could be a ham-fisted reference to a simple press conference, which would be his first since the day he re-injured his labrum.
What does it all truly mean? Unfortunately, there's only one man who knows, and now we've got to wait a week to find out.
Until then, No. 5 draws ever closer to his return:
Successful check up/visit w Kevin & Andrews! .
