At first it looked like a blowout and Blacksburg was blooming, with Cardale Jones at the helm of a powerful offense that included a new toy in Braxton Miller.
It ended with a 42-24 Buckeye victory after facing a halftime deficit at Lane Stadium and eventually a stirring rendition of Carmen Ohio, complete with head coach Urban Meyer high-fiving fans on his way to the locker room.
