Ohio State cornerback Damon Webb has been suspended from the football team for a violation of Athletics Department policy, the school announced Saturday prior to kickoff.
Webb, a sophomore, was the Buckeyes' starting nickel this year. Through two games this season, Webb recorded eight tackles.
The release gave no timetable on his return.
