Five-year old Chad Carr, grandson of Lloyd, was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor in September 2014. Doctors gave him nine months to live.
Fourteen months later and the courageous child is still fighting; however, his parents made the tragic call to deliver Chad into hospice care earlier this week.
Undeterred, Ohio State and Michigan men's basketball coaches reportedly took Barbara Matta's idea to arrange an early Christmas present to Chad in the form of paying a service to arrange Christmas lights at his house.
Sometimes, things are bigger than the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry.

When it comes to cancer, we're all 1. Cancer is the biggest rivalry we all have to deal with. Thoughts & prayers https://t.co/o03uVLRslM

Best of luck to the courageous Chad Carr as he continues his battle against cancer.
