They're coming to our citaaay: ESPN's College GameDay is coming to Columbus for the clash between 10-0 Ohio State and 9-1 Michigan State Saturday. This will be the 14th visit for GameDay and the first since Ohio State faced Penn State in Nov. of 2010.
Ohio State fans long regarded GameDay as a yearly ritual in Columbus. When GameDay visited Columbus for that game against Penn State in 2010, it marked a record 13th appearance in one city for the production. Florida had the next most appearances with 11.

2 | OHIO STATE | 13 | 2010 |
3 | FLORIDA | 12 | 2012 |

However, that visit marked the last time ESPN visited Ohio State for GameDay. Since that game, Ohio State was rocked by a scandal that ousted Jim Tressel and resulted in a forgettable interregnum year.
Urban Meyer's arrival in 2012 turned around that program almost immediately, but GameDay had priorities elsewhere.
Since GameDay's last visit in 2010, six visits to Tuscaloosa leapfrogged Alabama past Ohio State as College GameDay's favorite location. Alabama now leads all schools with 15 College GameDay appearances on campus.
