One of the biggest injustices in football—Orlando Pace not being in the Pro Football Hall of Fame—is finally slated to be rectified.

The NFL's 46-memember selection committee announced on Saturday night that Pace, the No. 1 overall pick in the 1997 NFL Draft and inventor of the pancake block, will be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame with the 2016 class. Other headliners in the class include Brett Favre, Tony Dungy, and Marvin Harrison.

Pace is a seven-time Pro Bowler, All-Pro three-timer, Super Bowl champion, and 2000s NFL All-Decade member, The College Football Hall of Fame inducted the former Ohio State great in 2013.

Congratulations to Pace on the honor, and congratulations to the Pro Football Hall of Fame for finally getting it right.
