Mock drafts aren't worth their weight in paper. It's guess work, even for professional draft analysts like ESPN's Mel Kiper. But lo! Ezekiel Elliott may have changed the game!
Zeke is in Bristol, Connecticut today as doing an ESPN "carwash" ahead of the 2016 NFL Draft. During Friday's episode of SportsCenter, the former Ohio State running back tried his hand at mocking the first round of the NFL draft.
His only problem is he couldn't find enough Buckeyes.
Here's how Zeke sees the first round going down:
PICK | TEAM | PLAYER | POSITION |
---|---|---|---|
1 | LOS ANGELES RAMS | TAYLOR DECKER | OT |
2 | CLEVELAND BROWNS | JOEY BOSA | DE |
3 | SAN DIEGO CHARGERS | EZEKIEL ELLIOTT | RB |
4 | DALLAS COWBOYS | MICHAEL THOMAS | WR |
5 | JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS | DARRON LEE | LB |
6 | BALTIMORE RAVENS | ADOLPHUS WASHINGTON | DT |
7 | SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS | JOSHUA PERRY | LB |
8 | PHILADELPHIA EAGLES | ELI APPLE | CB |
9 | TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS | VONN BELL | S |
"Where's the rest of our draftees?" Elliott asked, probably looking to forecast Cardale Jones to the New York Giants with the 10th overall pick. The best part is nobody can say this is mock draft is incorrect.
The NFL Draft begins April 28th.
