The first batch of college football lines are out for the 2016 season and in the four games South Point Casino has listed for Ohio State, the Buckeyes are heavy favorites in one game, slight favorites in two others and two-score underdogs on the road.
The Buckeyes open as 26-point favorites in their home opener against Bowling Green on Sept. 3, but two weeks later should enter their clash with top-five Oklahoma as underdogs. The line for that game, per South Point, is nine points in the Sooners' favor, but expect gambling Ohioans to push it down closer to seven. If the line holds, Ohio State will enter that game as the biggest underdogs for a Buckeye game since they met USC at +11.5 in 2008.
In better news, Ohio State opens as three-point favorites for their October trip to Wisconsin and are showing as 6.5-point favorites for the school's home finale against the Michigan Wolverines.
