At the same time the Cleveland Browns were practicing inside Ohio Stadium, the state's real football team was checking into its hotel for fall camp.
Ohio State reported to the Hyatt Columbus on Saturday afternoon. The Buckeyes open their 2016 training camp Sunday morning at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
Some highlights:
- James Clark takes the CABS bus to check-in solo
- Liam McCullough rocks a T-shirt featuring...Liam McCullough
- Sam Hubbard will now only be known as Superman
- Freshmen Nick Bosa and Jake Hausmann are not small
- Wide receiver Noah Brown is healthy and ready to roll
- Defensive tackle Tracy Sprinkle asks a simple question.
- Demario McCall, still the best.
- Players also took some time out to sign autographs for a few fans who stopped by.
All players who were expected to report to the team hotel did so.
Ohio State's first practice begins 8:30 a.m. Sunday and is for freshman and newcomers only. The Buckeyes' upperclassmen will take the field 3:35 p.m. Sunday for their first workout of the 2016 season. Ohio State's full fall camp schedule can be seen here.
