Ohio State started slow but figuratively and literally survived the storm to down Tulsa, 48-3, Saturday afternoon.

Sunday, the Associated Press anointed the Buckeyes as the No. 3 team in the country, up from No. 4 just a week ago. (The latest Coaches Poll ranked Ohio State No. 4 earlier in the day.)

Michigan checks in at No. 4. Wisconsin (No. 9), Michigan State (No. 12), and Iowa (No. 13) rounds out Ohio State's Big Ten contingent. Tom Herman's Houston is up to No. 6.

Clemson, No. 2 all but a week ago, is down to No. 5.

No. 3 Ohio State heads to Norman, Oklahoma to take on the No. 14 Sooners at 7:30 p.m ET Saturday on FOX.
