According to the football team's official Snapchat, Ohio State will be wearing its alternate road uniform for this weekend's game at Oklahoma.
The Buckeyes are 3-0 in this set — with wins against Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, at Virginia Tech and at Michigan — and 15-3 all-time donning alternate threads.
This look was the standard road uniform during Woody Hayes' tenure at Ohio State, but was ditched in favor of the current look when Earle Bruce took over in 1979. The sleeve stripes returned in 1988 with the arrival of John Cooper and remained until 2006.
