Redshirt Ohio State junior cornerback Gareon Conley suffered what team officials described as an "upper body injury," Saturday night in Ohio State's 45-24 win over the Oklahoma Sooners.
Though the apparent shoulder stinger sidelined Conley for the duration of the game, head coach Urban Meyer declared the Massillon, Ohio product as "fine" after the game.
Meyer doubled down on that description Tuesday during Big Ten's weekly coaches teleconference.
Urban Meyer reiterated on the B1G teleconference that starting CB Gareon Conley is fine and will practice today, just non-contact.

Meyer added Conley was "good to go" despite the non-contact qualification. Regardless, it looks like the open week comes at a crucial time for one of Ohio State's top defenders.
