Ezekiel Elliott had his NFL coming out party Sunday night, turning in his first 100-yard game as a pro and a highlight that will be replayed all week in Dallas' 31-17 win over the Chicago Bears.

The Ohio State star, taken No. 4 overall by the Cowboys in the draft, finished with 140 yards on 30 attempts – the 2nd-most rushing yards by a back in the NFL this season. Elliott also caught two passes out of the backfield and was instrumental in picking up blitzes for quarterback Dak Prescott all evening.

It was his 19th carry of the night, however, that will be the talk around water coolers Monday morning. Elliott took a handoff from Prescott, bounced around the right side of his line and hurdled Chicago safety Chris Prosinski on the way to a 14-yard gain.

Elliott's Sunday Night Football performance follows a week two outing that saw the running back benched briefly for fumbling twice at Washington.

Elliott has 274 rushing yards through three games, with two touchdowns. He won't have the luxury of running against the hapless Bears every week, but he's on pace for a 1,400-yard season.
