With his second score today against Wisconsin — an eight-yard run against Wisconsin to top a six-play, 38-yard drive to give Ohio State a 19-16 lead — Ohio State redshirt junior quarterback J.T. Barrett has tied former quarterback and wide receiver Braxton Miller with a school-record 88 career touchdowns account for.

"It's crazy because Braxton, I saw him play and all the things he's done for this university and the great things he's done for our program," Barrett said earlier this week. "It's crazy to even think about it."

Barrett ties the record having only started 24 games as Ohio State's signal caller. He took over for an injured Miller prior to the 2014 season, but a broken ankle against Michigan ended his chance at leading the Buckeyes to a national title. He split time early on in 2015 with Cardale Jones before earning the starting spot midway through the season.

"When you start thinking about the great history of this university, and he can be No. 1., that's incredible," head coach Urban Meyer said.

Barrett, who also holds school records for touchdown passes in a game (6), season (34) and career (insert number during Wisconsin), has more than a year and a half of eligibility remaining. Let the assault on the record books continue.
