EL-OH-EL.
Bosa saw the first action of his young NFL career Sunday, turning in a spectacular performance. The San Diego Chargers rookie finished with five tackles, three TFL and two sacks in just 27 snaps.
Here's his first career sack, coming in the first half, and poor David Carr:
And here's the second time he dropped Carr in the backfield:
Though his team lost the game, 34-31 to the Raiders, his head coach, Mike McCoy, didn't mince words when speaking about the rookie's performance.
“I mean there are a number of plays you look at and say, ‘Wow.’ There's the wow factor in him. He played lights out,” McCoy said after the game.
He wasn't the only one marveling at the rookie's debut.
Starting to see why the #Chargers drafted Joey Bosa No. 3 overall... 2 sacks in his debut, including that huge one.
