Another Wednesday, another injury update for Ohio State linebacker Dante Booker from Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer.
During a press conference following practice Wednesday, Meyer updated the status of the one-time starting outside linebacker. Meyer said Booker remains questionable for Saturday's game at Wisconsin, but the Ohio State coach also revealed Booker has a sprained PCL in addition to the sprained MCL that has sidelined him since Week 2.
"It's worse than initially expected," Meyer said, "but he's close."
In Booker's place has been sophomore Jerome Baker and there hasn't been much, if any, drop-off. In last week's 38-17 victory over Indiana, Baker had a team-high 11 tackles.
Ohio State faces Wisconsin in Madison on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.
