As it turns out, giving the ball to Curtis Samuel is a wise football move.
After Penn State cobbled together a touchdown drive before half, J.T. Barrett and Ohio State took over the ball at their own 26-yard line leading 12-7 early in the third quarter.
A second-down, seven-yard pass to Curtis Samuel set Ohio State up with 3rd and 2. Urban Meyer and Ed Warinner dialed up the Brooklynite's number once again, and Samuel gashed Penn State for 74 yards.
Shoutout to Mike Weber, who lead the way with a devastating block to spring Samuel.
It was Samuel's first(!) carry of the game. He also has five receptions for 45 yards.
A subsequent Tyler Durbin PAT made it 19-7.
