Looks like the San Diego Chargers and Dallas Cowboys hit their No. 3 and No. 4 overall picks out of the park.
Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa and Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott, a pair Ohio State fans remember well, earned NFL Rookie of the Month honors on Wednesday for their tears through October.
Though the Chargers' notorious cheapness and a hamstring injury stunted Bosa's rookie season, the Big Bear demolished the NFL in four games in October where he compiled four sacks among a steady pace of quarterback pressure.
Elliott, the NFL's leading rusher and Bosa's former roommate, compiled 525 yards and three touchdowns on 88 rushes in four games. Oh, he also chipped in 125 yards on 10 catches. The Cowboys went 4-0 in that span.
Elliott and Bosa are the first collegiate teammates to win the award since Florida State's Warrick Dunn and Peter Boulware did the same in September 1997.
