Ohio State blows out Indiana, 38-15. Now, it's time to do the same to That Team Up North.
Ohio State's Big Ten championship and College Football Playoff hopes remain alive for another week, as the Buckeyes escaped East Lansing with a 17-16 win over Michigan State on Saturday afternoon.
Quarterback J.T. Barrett completed 10-of-22 passes for 86 yards and a touchdown and carried the ball 24 times for 124 yards. Running back Mike Weber added 118 yards and a touchdown, which put Ohio State up by seven.
Running back L.J. Scott scored on a 1-yard run to bring Michigan State within one late in the fourth quarter, but Malik Hooker and Chris Worley stepped in front a go-ahead two-point conversion attempt to keep the score at 17-16. The Spartans got the ball at their own 20-yard line with just over two minutes to play needing just a field goal, but a Gareon Conley interception sealed the win for the Buckeyes.
Following the game, Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer and a handful of players spoke with the assembled media.
You can check out Meyer's full presser above, in addition to interviews with Barrett, Weber, Worley, Conley, offensive guard Billy Price, defensive ends Jalyn Holmes and Sam Hubbard and defensive tackle Tyquan Lewis.
Ohio State concludes its regular season next week against Michigan. Kickoff of The Game is scheduled for noon.
