According to NBA reporter Joe Vardon of cleveland.com, LeBron James, the reigning NBA Finals MVP and Ohio royalty, will attend Ohio State's top-five clash with Michigan in Columbus on Saturday.
A "group" of Cleveland Cavaliers teammates — hopefully including a shirtless J.R. Smith — will attend the game with James.
Earlier in the week, Lebron gifted new cleats to the Buckeyes ahead of the big game.
It makes sense for James to attend for another reason, too: This will be the first rivalry game featuring Michigan's Jumpman jerseys. A show of force is good for his #brand.
