When Ohio State needed him the most, Malik Hooker responded with his best.
The redshirt sophomore broke a career tie with former Ohio State defensive back Neal Colzie an with three career for pick-sixes late in the second half with Ohio State trailing 0-3.
On first and 10 from his own six-yard line, Jim Harbaugh dialed up a pass. Raekwon McMillan burst through the line and smacked the injured Wilton Speight.
It resulted in a wounded duck fluttering through the air, which Malik Hooker scooped out of the air and dashed 16 yards to the end zone to swing the game 6-3 with four minutes left in the second quarter.
Hooker now averaging 30.2 yards per INT return this season (6/181/3).
