One thing we know about Jim Harbaugh: he's a sore loser. He first demonstrated that as a coach by breaking an overhead projector early into his head coaching career at the University of San Diego. He demonstrated that Saturday afternoon after Michigan lost in two overtimes to Ohio State.
Harbaugh expressed several misgivings about the calls on the field. He objected to a defensive pass interference call late in the fourth quarter. He objected to the critical fourth and inches spot in the second overtime. All told, Harbaugh said he was "bitterly disappointed" with the officiating in Michigan's loss to Ohio State.
He'll have plenty of time to stew about his bitter disappointment today as well. Michigan's loss bars the Wolverines from the Big Ten Championship Game and the playoff.
