Suspended Ohio State receiver Torrance Gibson earned headlines Tuesday morning when Mississippi Gulf Coast, a junior college, announced the former quarterback signed a Letter of Intent to join the team in the spring.
Though the letter binds the school to offering Gibson a financial package, it does not bind him. It did, however, appear to mean the end for Gibson in Columbus.
While Gibson could still end up going the JUCO route or trying greener pastures in Division 1, Urban Meyer, while speaking at a Thursday press conference, did not close the door on Gibson returning.
Meyer on Torrance Gibson: "I don't think anything is finalized. I can assure you we will do what's in the best interest of the athlete."

While Gibson has a JUCO spot reserved, it appears talk on Gibson leaving the program are still premature.
