Thursday is one of the most important days in Malik Hooker's life.
Mere hours from now, Hooker will hear his name called as a first-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. The former Ohio State safety is projected to be a top-10 selection.
Hooker opted not to attend the Draft in Philadelphia. Instead, he intends to watch it in his hometown of New Castle, Pennsylvania.
But on the morning of perhaps the biggest day in his life, Hooker took some time to give back. He went to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC and visited with patients.
Thanks to @malikhooker24, one of the top @NFL draft picks and New Castle native, who took time out to visit our patients today! pic.twitter.com/K05ER1uHno
