Tyvis Powell is coming home.
The former Ohio State safety and three-year starter was claimed off waivers by the Cleveland Browns from Seattle on Monday afternoon.

The 6-foot-2, 211-pound Bedford, Ohio native left college after the 2015 season and went undrafted. He signed a free-agent deal with the Seahawks and made the team. Powell mostly played special teams for Seattle, recording three tackles in eight appearances. The Seahawks cut him prior to the start of the NFL Playoffs.
Powell becomes one of two former Buckeyes on the Browns, though former quarterback and the team's leading receiver from an abysmal 1-15 campaign Terrelle Pryor Sr. is an unrestricted free agent. It is unclear if Cleveland intends to re-sign him as of Monday.
