Urban Meyer makes it well known: He prefers recruiting multi-sport athletes out of high school. Ohio State sophomore outside linebacker Malik Harrison is further proof of why that is.
Harrison, a 2016 three-star signee, played football and basketball at Columbus-area Walnut Ridge. He developed into a special teams ace as a freshman, which usually bodes well for future success in Meyer's program.
One reason former linebackers coach Luke Fickell liked Harrison so much is his athleticism. Harrison showcased his prodigious talent Wednesday morning when he won an impromptu team dunk contest by leaping over a teammate.
