According to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, Marshon Lattimore, one of the top cornerbacks available in the 2017 NFL Draft, injured his hamstring during his second attempt at the 40-yard dash on Monday.
Lattimore, however, refuted that report and said it was actually his hip flexor.
Wasn't a hamstring injury, it's my hip flexor. I'm good y'all lol

NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock immediately asked if Lattimore pulled up at the end, but the unofficial time of 4.37 seemed to erase those concerns. Mayock joked he was probably being too sensitive about Lattimore's past injuries.
Unfortunately, a day after saying he'd participate in all drills, Lattimore recused himself from field drills. A four-star 2014 signee from Cleveland Glenville, Lattimore battled hamstring issues his first two years in Columbus before erupting onto the scene in 2017.
Minutes later, Schefter clarified the injury "was nothing serious."
Marshon Lattimore's hamstring "tightened up on him, it's nothing serious," per source. But he is expected to be ready for March 23 pro day.
