Ohio State has suffered another blow to its linebacker corps a week after losing freshman linebacker Baron Browning to a torn shoulder labrum.
Urban Meyer announced Tuesday that sophomore linebacker Malik Harrison, the impromptu dunk contest winner and a special teams ace last year, will miss the rest of spring practice after undergoing shoulder surgery.
The good news is Harrison, like Browning, will be ready for fall camp and Meyer said he expects him to play in the fall. The former three-star prospect from Columbus is expected to contribute to special teams while providing back-up minutes in 2017.
