There haven't been many national prognosticators that have given Ohio State a chance to beat Georgia.
Don't count ESPN College GameDay co-host Lee Corso among them. As the show concluded Saturday, Corso shocked the country – despite saying earlier in the broadcast that Ohio State’s chances of winning the game were “none and none” – by donning the Brutus headgear, officially cementing his pick for the Buckeyes to upset Georgia in the College Football Playoff.
“Do you guys believe in miracles?” Corso said.

Joey Galloway was the only other analyst on College GameDay to pick Ohio State to win.
It's the 38th time since the college football pregame show started in 1996 that Corso has picked the Buckeyes to win in his official headgear pick.
Georgia opened as a 6.5-point favorite against Ohio State, and that line has dropped to 5.5 at some sportsbooks. It's the first time Ohio State has been an underdog this season, and the first time the Buckeyes have been an underdog with C.J. Stroud as their starting quarterback.
Saturday's meeting between Ohio State and Georgia is only the second time ever these two programs have met, with their lone previous meeting coming in the 1993 Citrus Bowl. Georgia won that contest 21-14.
Corso picking Ohio State wasn't the only interesting Buckeye material to come from College GameDay this morning. Ryan Day joined the show for an interview to preview the upcoming game.
College GameDay also sat down with Marvin Harrison Jr. and Marvin Harrison Sr. to get an inside look on what it's like for the younger Harrison to have a Hall of Fame NFL wide receiver as a father.
How have the Buckeyes done when Corso picks Ohio State?
- Corso is 8-1 picking the Buckeyes this season, his lone loss coming in November when he picked OSU to beat Michigan. It snapped a streak of 12 times the team represented by the headgear he picked had won.
- Corso has donned the Ohio State headgear more than any other team. Ohio State is 25-12 in his previous 37 times picking the Buckeyes. His very first headgear pick in 1996 was also Brutus in Columbus.
