Ohio State coach Kevin McGuff announced this morning that freshman guard Kaylan Pugh has left the women's basketball program.

"First of all, I want to say that Kaylan is a really great kid," McGuff said. "She worked hard the whole time that she was here. But she wanted to get into a situation where she is closer to her family."

A first-semester transfer would mean Pugh would be eligible to play for her new team next spring.
