Welcome to the Sunday Skull Session, which as of today, is officially a thing.

My one and only Super Bowl #take? I hope the Seahawks win by 300.

THAT #11W DRIP. We here at ELEVEN WARRIORS WORLDWIDE LLC produce a lot of content. As a human being with worries, you might have missed some things.

Here are some things from my more talented co-workers (redundant, i know):

PACE SNUBBED. This is a horrendous look from an institution billing itself as a professional football "Hall of Fame."

From Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com:

The five modern-era players headed to Canton this year are running back Jerome Bettis, linebacker Junior Seau, defensive end Charles Haley, guard Will Shields and receiver Tim Brown. Contributors Bill Polian and Ron Wolf and senior nominee Mick Tingelhoff will join those five.

Warner and Pace were among 15 finalists for the award and both players made the cut to 10 before falling short of making the final five. In what was described by some voters as an incredibly close proceeding, Pace and Warner will now have to wait at least another year.

Pace's omission was probably the biggest surprise of those not making it but with Shields going in, it's reasonable to assume that voters viewed it as Shields' time to get in and they didn't want to double down on offensive linemen. Pace figures to be one of the strongest candidates next year, though guard Alan Faneca will be on the ballot for the first time then.

I try not to get worked up about hall of fames (or anything for that matter), but it's sacrilegious that the best football player of my lifetime isn't good enough for an alleged football hall of fame.

I know I'm biased, but I would love to hear an unironic argument for keeping Orlando Pace out a football hall of fame, and by "would love to hear," I mean I'd rather bash myself in the testicles with a rusty hammer.

VANNETT ON DECK.  Ohio State won't have to replace many players from it's championship run, but captain TE Jeff Heuerman is one. As such, next fall will be Nick Vannett's chance to cover himself in glory.

From Bill Landis of cleveland.com:

In a sense, Vannett was being groomed for this.

He was always going to play second fiddle to Heuerman from a leadership standpoint, even if the playing time was considerably equal. Heuerman earned that much in his four years at Ohio State.

"It's gonna be tough losing a guy like Jeff," Vannett told cleveland.com at media day for the College Football Playoff National Championship. "It's my job to step up. I'm gonna be the leader of the group. We have Marcus Baugh coming up and he's gonna do a good job. We just gotta keep the culture going. We have to keep things moving, we can't skip a beat, and it's gonna be my job to do that."

Out of all the seniors that need replaced between now and September... I'm least worried about replacing Jeff Heuerman. Ol' Heuerman was a beast that will always be underrated, but there's no doubt in my mind Vannett is ready to answer that call.

THOSE WMDs. Don't drink and drive in Columbus today...  Of literature and love... The Fire on the 57 Bus in Oakland... Photos of the Boston molasses disaster of 1919... The fight over Lee Harvey Oswald's coffin... You can be convinced to confess to an invented crime, study says.
