Beating Michigan absolutely never gets old, especially when it's a beat-down like we saw in Saturday's 42-13 waxing of the Wolverines in Ann Arbor. Johnny and I are here to talk about the game, Zeke's big day, and how much fun it is to beat Michigan.
It's our honor to be joined by former Miami Dolphins defensive lineman John Bosa, who you probably know better as "Joey and Nick's dad." John had some great insight on how his two sons ended up as Buckeyes, why public perception has Nick ahead of Joey at the same age, what he thinks of Joey's shrug move, and more. It was a fascinating interview and you should definitely give it a listen.
Friend of the Dubcast, Matt Finkes, returns for a "The Game" edition of Finkes on Football and it's all about execution. The good news is that Matt doesn't have to buy those gold pants out of pocket, because that's four pairs in a row for the Ohio State football team.
We also talk a bit about the chaos Ohio State needs to climb two spots into the top four in the CFP poll, and what constitutes a successful season. And we answer listener questions in our Ask Us Anything segment. You can ask us whatever's on your mind via Twitter or by emailing us.
Here's the rundown:
0:00- The Game! Beating Jim Harbaugh and No. 10 Michigan was a blast and we've got a lot to say on the subject. We're happy and basically not worrying too much about the CFP at this point because we beat Michigan.
17:48- You asked us anything and we answered. Tim Beck, beating Michigan, MST3K and more are the topics you needed to know about.
30:48- Finkes on Football discusses how Ohio State overwhelmed the Wolverines. Nothing fancy, just play to your potential, guys.
47:38- John Bosa checks in. We get a glimpse into the Bosa boys' childhood and recruiting process, a health update on Nick, and even some background on former OSU linebacker Eric Kumerow.
1:09:38- Favorite Michigan meme?
That's it for this week's edition. Next week, we'll know Ohio State's postseason destination and we'll start dissecting this year's young hoops team.
