We've seen us give legacy offers to other players' kids in the past (Will Smith Jr), and although a lot of that may have had to do with the passing of his father, how did we miss on Winfield Jr? In his class, we got Jordan Fuller (which worked out for us), but also ended up with Jahsen Wint, Rodjay Burns, and Wayne Davis in that DB class.
Love to see him succeed but this one stings a little when it seems like he could have easily taken a spot since we weren't in on a lot of top end talent that class. I would honestly put this up there with one of the greatest recruiting misses in OSU football history, especially given that this probably would have been a slam dunk if offered.
How did @OhioStateFB miss on this guy coming out of school???
Not like his daddy wasnt one of the greatest cornerbacks to ever grace Ohio State Football
Anyways
Congratulations to he & his family
