Ohio State blows out Indiana, 38-15. Now, it's time to do the same to That Team Up North.
Oklahoma Sooner freshman quarterback Austin Kendall made headlines last week when he went on a university-produced show and called Ohio State's defense "very basic" before predicting starting quarterback Baker Mayfield would "light them up."
Though Ohio State players denied the remarks motivated them, a lot of them rebutted on Twitter. Raekwon McMillan posed with a "basic" sign after the game, and a handful of players joined him thereafter.
In other words, they at least heard the comments.
And now that the Sooners paid the iron price, retribution must be handed out. Sooner coach Bob Stoops announced the penalties at his weekly press conference:
Stoops says because of Austin Kendalls basic defense remarks, some guys wont be available to talk to the media because he cant trust them

Bob Stoops on Austin Kendall: "Ridiculous comments. I don't know what he could've been watching."

The good news for Sooner fans is Kendall, who used to be an Ohio State fan, got a front row seat Saturday night.
The 1-2 Sooners are off this week before heading to Fort Worth, Texas on Oct. 1st to battle the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs.
