The #7 OSU men's volleyball team lost 22-25, 25-20, 28-30, 25-15, 12-15 to #13 Loyola-Chicago in a back-and-forth five-set match.

The defeat at home will hurt the Buckeyes' ranking, which as noted earlier is especially important for both making the seven-team NCAA Toutrnament field and avoiding the opening round. But they have a chance to recover in Los Angeles as they head for the Big Ten/Pac 12 Challenge (against #11 USC and then #4 UCLA).
