Ohio State's men's volleyball team lost in straight sets 23-25, 16-25, 20-25 at UCLA, ending with a split in the Big Ten/Pac 12 Challenge in Los Angeles.

This season the Buckeyes went 3-1 against powerhouses USC and UCLA (all neutal or road venues), but they probably need to win the MIVA Tournament to secure an NCAA Tournament bid.

MIVA league play resumes Thursday at Ball State.
