A five-set victory (18-25, 20-25, 28-26, 25-18, 15-11) over McKendree leaves Ohio State with an 11-5 conference record and a seed no lower than third in the MIVA Tournament. This will assure a first-round home game in the three-round league tournament, whose champion is guaranteed a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
The Buckeyes are at home with Maryville University, a nonconference opponent, on Friday. The MIVA Tournament starts on April 13.
