Ohio State's top-ranked men's tennis team easily won the doubles point but had four out of six singles matches go to a third set, on their way to a 6-1 win at home against Michigan State.
In the singles matches JJ Tracy and Jack Anthrop (both OSU) were the only men from either team to win in straight sets. Robert Cash brought in the clinching point as the next winner as the Buckeyes ultimately prevailed at five out of six singles courts.
Ohio State's next opponent arrives Sunday and will probably "miss again" as they did at Ann Arbor earlier this season (OSU won that dual 4-0). Road matches next weekend at Nebraska and Wisconsin close out the regular season.
