Ohio State graduate Neal Shipley became the only amateur to make the cut at the Masters thus weekend, which led to his earning Low Amateur honors. Shipley is the second Buckeye to receive this honir. The first: Jack Nickalus in 1960. Shipley ended at +12. Turned out to be four shots ahead of Tiger Woods.
