Former Ohio State basketball player Keita Bates-Diop had the best game of his NBA career – by far – on Thursday night.
Bates-Diop was perfect from the floor, making all 11 of his shots including three 3-pointers to score a career-high 30 points and lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 138-110 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
Keita Bates-Diop is the first player in Spurs franchise history to drop 30+ points on 100% shooting.

30 PTS
7 REB
11-11 FG
3-3 3P
Only 4 other players have done it since 2000.
Before Thursday, Bates-Diop had never scored more than 22 points in an NBA game. He hadn’t scored more than 10 points in any previous game this season, in which he is averaging 4.9 points per game, before going off to lead the Spurs to a win and ruin the Lakers’ final game at the Staples Center before it is renamed Crypto.com Arena.
