Is this a bad trend for OSU that we lose to teams that have their best players out before the game?

2015 MSU had to play backup QBs. 2020 Jaylen Waddle tried to go but didn't play after a few series due to injury. 2021 Oregon didn't have their 2 best defenders. Blake Corum in 2022 didn't play after a few series from a lingering injury. 2024 Oregon didn't have their best DE. Today we knew Will Johnson wouldn't play but Loveland was out. 

Am I missing any others? Seems the losses outweigh the wins when this happens.
