I was pissed off like most of you after the game yesterday. I've had 24 hours to think about it, and I've made peace with it. OSU is on to better things. Michigan meanwhile is looking for an invite to the Duke's Mayo Bowl, or the Music City Bowl.

I don't want Ryan Day fired. I wouldn't be mad if they did it though. I would be ok either way as long as they get a homerun hire. Who are these people? I have a shortlist of multiple people from Ohio, but that is not what this article is about. I think there is zero chance that Ryan Day is fired. It will probably not even be considered with his 32.28 million dollar buyout.

Justin Frye is certainly on the hotseat. Everyody knew he already was, because Ryan only gave him a 1 year extension, instead of the traditional two. At least 3 of the last 4 losses can clearly be blamed on the offensive line. We can save that for another article though.

For now, let's celebrate the CFP playoff berth. We can speculate where they will be seeded below, I think it'll be 7 or 8, but regardless OSU's quest for a National Championship continues, and honestly, that is the end goal for every team in any sport.

No matter what happens, Michigan's season is a failure compared to last year. OSU's season has yet to be completely written. I was just as guilty as most of you ripping up Day and Frye yesterday. We would be wrong to continue to do it, at least until the season is complete. For now, let's rally around the team and let them know we support them 100%. OSU can still accomplish the last goal of a National Championship. Only 12 teams can say this, and OSU will be one of them.
