Rushing Yards by Quarter

I would be interested in historical statistics of passing and rushing yards and attempts for CFB games by quarter. I know this is a lot of data, and it might not exist. I'm interested in doing analysis of when types of yards/attempts come in games. All I can find is box scores and end of game stats rather than quarter-by-quarter. Any help?

It is my hypothesis that teams decide to establish the run and attempt to warm up the game running the ball. The blend of run and pass tends to take over after that, and Offense/Defense cat and mouse begins. Big plays happen. And one team will pull away sufficiently that running the ball becomes the flavor to end the game for the team in the lead. Given this hypothesis, I would expect to see rushing yards and attempts be a bit higher in the 1st and 4th quarter, possibly exagerated in the 4th quarter by the winning team, whereas passing becomes the flavor for the losing team.

How does this apply to OSU Football, you say? I believe the narrative of the team that runs the ball wins The Game is possibly false. This could be a "correlation is not causation" situation. I would like some data going back several years to analyze this hypothesis. I would also like to compare this to other teams, especially rivalry games.

If anyone has already done this analysis, I'd love to read it. This seems like something Remy would do in his free time :)

TLDR; Where can I find cfb stats by quarter?
