The franchise’s ownership group is threatening to move the club to Austin unless the city helps build them a new, downtown arena.
Tonight, the team’s owner, Anthony Precourt, tweeted the following:
The players and coaches and staff deseve your support as they make a run for an MLS Cup. They have nothing to do with ownerships decisions.
